Centrifugal Fans

Centrifugal blowers are used for a wide range of applications where a large amount of air needs to be moved, including draft inducers, exhausts, wood stoves, and fireplaces.

These blower units are typically made of fabricated steel, stainless steel, or cast aluminum. Structurally, the fan has a drum shape composed of a number of fan blades mounted around a hub. The hub turns on a driveshaft mounted in the fan housing. The wheel draws air into the blower housing, through the wheel, and out through the housing discharge.

Crossflow Blowers - Air Curtains

Crossflow tangential blowers create a somewhat flat band of air and are often used for air curtains, pizza ovens, and PTAC units, which stands for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner. PTAC units, as a self contained heating and air conditioning unit, are commonly found in hotels, motels, senior housing facilities, hospitals, condominiums, and apartment buildings.
