Marathon Electric GT2465 pump motor is built for premium durability and performance in industrial water handling applications. Use in close-coupled functions where the impeller is mounted directly to the motor shaft.
Enjoy quiet operation with a precision balanced rotor, which also extendeds the motor life due to minimumal vibration. This Leeson is a packing seal unit , so some leakage may occur. Marathon Electric's 25hp electrical pump motor also features a c-face and JP extended shaft dimensions; but no drip cover (you can purchase one seperately).
ODP stands for open drip proof, meaning that there are slots in the motor body for air flow and cooling; this machine is intended for somewhat clean and dry areas to avoid premature failure.
