Marathon Motor E653 is an automotive duty unit that meets Ford EM1 and IEEE45 USCG Marine Duty specifications. Totally enclosed frame helps to keep out moisture and contaminants that may lead to premature motor failure. Hazardous duty Division 2, Groups A, B, C, & D.
Use this electrical motor in a wide range of applications found in chemical plants, paper mills, refineries, mines, food processing, foundries, and other severe duty locations. Each motor ships brand new from the factory and has a three year manufacturer’s warranty.
Motor features include:
- Exempt from NEMA Premium efficiency requirement, C-face addition results in non-NEMA "AH" dim (+1.2" than NEMA)
- C-face addition may result in non-NEMA "BA" dim. For new "BA" dim consult chart found in modification section
- Blue Chip® quality, 100% cast iron construction for rigidity and reduced vibration
- Provisions to add stub shaft for an encoder (182T-449T, TEFC only)
- Totally enclosed, non-ventilated
